Finding parts for an Avanti is not getting any easier. For a Studebaker Avanti, as parts go out of production or are no longer available as rebuilt, the need is finding parts that work in lieu of the original. For Avanti II since many parts come from other car companies, the mystery is "Where did this part come from?" (Just try going to your local parts store and asking for a brake power booster for an 1984 Avanti.) I am currently collecting info on replacement part interchanges. If you have determined a readily available part that replaces an Avanti part, please write me so I can include your info in my list. Below are links to my pages of parts interchange information.
